Be honest and be true to yourself.

Shirley,

What does pineapple have to do with low back pain.  As far as I know, it does not have any analgesic properties.  I think you should go to your doctor and ask him a prescription for pain meds.  Let him investigate the cause of the low back pain.  Did you lift some heavy object before you started having pain?

Always be kind to people , look on the brighter side of life where possible, and be HAPPY.

I  do NOT mean this disrespectfully, but my lower back pain was very minimal to non existent after I lost 3 Stones ( 42 LBS) in weight. However I was overweight to begin with. If you are a slim person this is not your answer and I appologise if I am out of order by telling you this.

Smile, it's contagious!

See physician.  Have x-rays and MRI.  There a a number of things that could go wrong.  Fracture, Arthritis, Stenosis, Herniation, etc. Each need their own form of treatment from analgesics, steroid injections, surgery, or physical therapy.  Pineapples will help only if your back pain is caused by constipation.

Massage therapy, acupuncture, and electrical muscle stimulation may help.  Please visit the Pain News page on my website http://www.best4health.net for more information.

One thing I suggest is this. Keeping your legs straight, simply bend over and try to touch your toes with your fingertips. The reason for this is that lower back pain is often caused by the muscles tightening up. Touching your toes stretches them out and can help relieve back pain when done regularly.

Natural health = good health naturally.

Lower back pain that originates in the buttock area is usually sciatic nerve related. It is triggered by many different things including: high heels, sitting on a wallet, standing in one place or sitting too long, recliner chairs, crossing your legs, and unaccustomed exercise or activity.  Treatments that work to help allegiave the problem are:  Reflexology, Chiropractic adjustments, massage, homeopathic remedies sometime help.  An old home remedie is to soak your feet in apple cider vinegar. (haven't tried this one).  Exercises that help are to lay flat on your back and bring your knees toward your chest several times.  Sleeping with a pillow between your knees also helps.
