Is it a good idea to stay friends with an ex?

I really don't get you.... If he prefers that other girl upon you and uses you(Sorry !!!) for sex... why do you agree ? Don't you have self respect ?  Leave him alone, move on, hard as it will be... he is not worth you. Don't let him play his double games.... Be brave and tell him it's either you or her !. 
Being friends with one's ex is genarally
a bad idea..... In most cases one (of them) wants more than just friendship and it will really be bad for him/her.  Once it's over, it's over..... (they can always return if and when they want).

Now, that's a tough one, LOL. I honestly believe that it depends on both sides involved. For me, staying in touch with an ex was never an option, but it's only because of the way things ended. On the other hand, if it was a relationship that started as a friendship - I guess there might be a way for the two to stay in touch..

yes why not? all my exes are my friends and im ok with it..maybe for me its not that easy to forget all the memories we shared together..

YES! Its a great idea. But when either one of you finds someone else, the relationship will have to end, period!
