If the Apple iPhone turns out the be a flop, to what extent will it hurt Apple? I'm sure it won't bring them to the same situation they were before Steve Jobs came back, but I'm still concerned it will harm the company's stability and growth.
"Hello, Newman."
"Hello, Jerry."
I wouldn't want to own Apple stock if the iPhone flops. But I'd probably want to buy the stock once the disappointment faded.
Apple is a survivor -- it bounced back from the Lisa, the Newton, and other failures. (See I4U News: With Hype high, iPhone may have to fight a Flop.) It would bounce back from the iPhone too -- especially since it would still have the iPod and iTunes.
