Why did he leave you? What do you think the other woman now gives him that you didn't? I feel very sorry for you in such a situation. I wouldn't beg him, and presume you have both talked extensively on the subject. You may well need professional help so that you can face reality and move on with your life without him.

I have to be 100% true to you and be hard:  If you can't convince him there is no way you can force him back.  Th best tactic I would recommend you is to tell (or write) him that you were 34 years together and he knows that the best woman at that age and specially when getting older is you... it might seem that there are some " attractions" down the road but if he thinks thoroughly the best for him (and 4U) is you.  Again, the only way is to convince, you can't force !.

Sometimes people find their way back to each other, sometimes they don't. You have to figure out if he is worth it fighting over him . Are you willing to spend your physical and mental energy pursuing something you are not so sure you will get back? You should also think like mentioned what happened did  the relation between you two  kept on soaring or did it reach its peek a long time ago? Sometimes we should let go and move on you need two for tango if he is not interested let go .

I wouldnt go after him I know it hurts but then he might see that youare hurting all the time pay him no mind, he knows that he can have you back at the drop of a dime  girl get in that shower shave them legs get your hair cut put on the makeup  even if your no going out make him think you are if you have kids together pretend your going on a date thats great, and makes you smile and laugh, youll see he wont want someone else touching you after 34 years but he will think its ok for him to do youll see keep me posted GOOD LUCK

Ignore him; I would go on with my life like nothing has happened that would bug the hell out of him. He has been married a long time he will most likely come back when she gets boring. I got cheated on before once I decided to go on with my life he wanted me back.

Welcome to my world!

All you can do is build your own life and find your own strength. If he does not come back, you will have built a new world, if he comes back, you will be a stronger, more empowered woman and less likely to be hurt by him again. Desperation is natural when the basis of your world has been shattered but it is unattractive and will not bring him back. Work on yourself FOR yourself - find and take care of the woman beneath the wife - the one who became the wife but don't be surprised if you conclude that he is not worthy of you
