Is my husband cheating?

Something is fishy here..... it' a very strange story.... very suspecious as well.... You are not crazy at all..... on the contrary, you are very normal, anyone would react in that way under those circumstances.  To many holes in that story.... much grounds to believe he is cheating as well (no offence, please).  You need more hard evidence. How about hiring a PI (private investigator).  Keep on being on alert.  Join him as much as you can.  Show him you don't "buy" his story.  Try to discuss it with him, tell him 30 years of marriage are being in stack / risk.

Hi Susan. It definitely sounds like there is some missing information with regard to the story you told about above. I think if you find yourself having difficulty even discussing the matter with your husband, you might want to invest some time in marriage counseling. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to know for sure if your husband is cheating, but I do think that by going to marriage counseling, your husband will realize the seriousness of the matter and take action to make you feel more at ease with regard to your marriage. something is up! if he is not lying about the girl from the cafe, then he is lying about other things. sometimes men lie for stupid things but they only lie because they know you would be upset if they told the truth about what they were doing. and all of that means that he is doing something that you would not like. I think you have to do some more investagation. looking at phone bills are a good way to tell. normaly a cheeting man will call his wife first and then his girlfriend. look for a number that comes up after your number and then call it. that will help you.

I agree, you are not crazy. Those little signals or feelings you have are often correct.  You know your husband and his routine.  If something is questionable, get to the bottom of it so you don't have to feel suspicious.
