I remember while I was looking for humorous wedding toasts and funny wedding speeches almost all of the free toasts that I discovered were rehashed versions of other toasts made hundreds of times in the past, using tributes and jokes as old as 3-year-old-fruitcake.

Fortunately I discovered  Dan Steven's humorous wedding toasts and speeches . There was a fee, maybe 20$ back then , however I was very happy I used the site because ...

It was easy to find a humorous wedding toast which suited the occasion, my style and the circumstances, I copied and pasted the majority of the speach, added a few special and personal details and anecdotes which I already had in reserve (you are supplied with lots of jokes plus other helpful additions) I prepared the speech super fast, had it finished in about an hour.

Heaps of stress was removed from me instantly (you'll know what I mean as you are in a similar situation), and I was able to relax and focus my attention on other matters.

I didn't commit the speech to memory, I merely read it from some cards (cards are better than paper - if you're nervous the paper will shake!) The toast was a huge success, and in fact calmed the nerves of all and broke the ice. There was a noticeable mood change and I was very happy with how everything turned out.

With regards to my nerves , I used the free "Audio confidence booster", and as for the jokes I took almost all from the joke book that they furnished.

Anyway, I hope that helps with your search for humorous wedding toasts and funny wedding speeches.

Good luck with the speech.

Try these for some funny wedding toasts:

"Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock."

"In olden times sacrifices were made at the alter, a custom which is still continued."

Hopefully the crowd have a good sense of humor...

don't make the humorous wedding speech too long, make it funny but not insulting! compliment the bride somehow. tell 2-3 funny stories about him. make a couple of notes in case you get nervous but don't read from a paper. Good Luck!!!! Get it over with immediately so you don't stress all night =)

Talk about unhealthy eating habits and warn of the dangers of red meat, high-cholesterol, and of refined sugar. There isone food that was more dangerous than all the rest, and one that most people had eaten at least once...

"Wedding cake?"

For good humorous best man toasts, start by introducing yourself and who you are to the bride. If she has a good sense of humor, you can tell a funny story about you two, or her and the groom (as long as it's in good taste and isn't too embarrassing).

Good luck!

GroomPower has a page about the groom's speech , but it has some good tips on delivery which I am sure will be useful: the best way to use a microphone, how to get people to raise their glasses, etc.
