A:The humidor should be seasoned if you placed the distilled water cup into the humidor and closed the lid for about 12 to 24 hours. All you want is for the cedar to suck up the water so that it stabilizes. Once you place cigars in the humidor the humidity will drop slightly but will then stabilize again after the cigars suck up the required humidity.
