Don't cook foods with offensive smell like CURRY, spicy foods, or Kimchi.

The smell sticks to the curtains, furniture, clothes, carpet.

If you have dogs or cats, be sure to clean after them after the go to the bathroom.

Hopefully they are potty trained.

Be sure to wash dirty clothes immediately.

Bake something.

Or, if you don't want to bake, you can simmer a bit of vanilla extract and ground cinnamon in a pot of water - it will smell as though you are baking and make your house smell nice.

I like to burn incense myself. Not for everybody, of course, but I like it.
