Wow, what a great experience that will be. I don't know the answer but I will bet there is a web site for national horse trails or something. Will look and see if I can find anything and would love to hear about your ride. Are you going with a group? I'm in Michigan. I have seen trail riding organizations and they are always pushing for more trails to be protected. You might find one in your state. I will watch for other answers. dave

Pretty cool. Are you taking a lap top so you can blog about the trip? Take lots of pictures at least and keep a journal. You might contact churches along the way and they might hook you up with people who have places to keep your horse and a place for you to sleep. God be with you, dave
Hello Dave I have a dear friend who is going to document on line for me. I have my Blackjack cellphone that does alot, I just need to be able to conserve the battery as much as possible. So I will be in constant contact with her. Churches are a Grand idea. In fact my first night on the trail will be at a Cowboy Church in Collinsville TX. Thank You
My wife was born in 62 in South Lyon. We have been raising horses for the last 4 years. Was supposed to be TB race horses but we didn't like the business and how the horses are treated. Long story but will share more later if you are interested. dave
