What does a TSH score of 4.85 "highly sensitive ...

what does a TSH score of 4.85 "highly sensitive" mean.  I am 53 and was taken off birth control pills last summer. Then given a complete blood test. Besides being a walking "hot flash" now, my hair is falling out more than normal. getting pretty thin..  Is it my body just trying to adjust to the lack of hormones from the pill?
