I have had acne since I was about 13 I am now 30 is there any hope? Is it a health issue, like my liver or kidneys aren't functioning well?
Have you seen a dermatologist? I also had really bad acne and my doctor prescribed Accutane which made it clear up completely and I never had any issue since.
If you have any health problems it is better to get it checked.

In most cases, the cause of acne is overproduction of sebum (oils) by the sebaceous glands, which are stimulated when Testosterone is converted to DHT in the body. This explains why for many people, teenage acne is worse, and usually improves as we get older and move into our 30's. Usually a good acne treatment will address this issue, while at the same time reducing overall bacteria count on the skin surface.
