I am writing to inform you of my very unpleasant experience with Hannoush Jewelers of Nashua NH. In early September 2008 my Fiancé and I went into Hannoush to purchase our wedding bands. We both found of bands and we informed that my band would be sized and ready in a matter of days for pickup. My Fiancé was purchasing a Tungsten steel band that was not in stock but could be ordered in his size. Due to the fact the wedding was only 10 days away we were told we could purchase the ring in a bigger size because they had it available and we could place an order for the same ring in his size. I was given a date for pick up of October 3, 2008. I returned the following week to pick up my band and was advised that my Fiancé's band would not be in until October 6, 2008 and I would receive a call when it was ready.
After purchasing our bands through Hannoush I raved about the great customer service we received while buying our rings and even referred a few of my engaged friends to Hannoush to purchase their wedding bands. During a visit to purchase wedding bands my dear friends checked the status of my husband's band and were advised the ring was not in yet and I would received a call when it was, this was mid October.
On October 29, 2008 at noon I contacted Hannoush to check the status of the band. The man who checked on it said it appeared as thought this order "fell through the cracks" and he would have someone call me back with a status. This same evening my husband arrived home and advised he received a voice mail from a man at Hannoush Jewelers. I promptly called back at 7:30 pm and was told that the store manager Chris Synder would call the manufacturer tomorrow and call me back. I was puzzled by this because over 7 hours had gone by and no one thought to do this when I first contacted the store? On the afternoon of October 30, 2008 @ 4:45 pm Chris Synder called me back and advised me of the issues Hannoush was having with this particular manufacturer. Unfortunately I did not buy the ring directly from them I purchased the ring from Hannoush and as a consumer I expected a little more than just passing the buck. Hannoush had over a month to contact me and let me know that this ring was on back order and request my patience. Mr. Synder then informed me this ring may be in by Saturday Novemeber 1st and he would call me back on Friday October 31, 2008 to let me know either way. I once again explained that the majority of my frustration was due to the lack of communication from Hannoush Jewelers. On Monday November 4, 2008 I called back to speak with Chris Synder but he was not available. Chris did not contact me on Friday October 31, 2008 nor did he contact me on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.
On an ending note a recent conversation with my friends that I referred to Hannoush resulted in additional outrage towards this store. My friend advised me she was told by the saleswoman that the delay on rings is isolated to the style of Tungsten steel and that she has called me several times to discuss this matter. This is incorrect; I have never received one phone call from anyone at Hannoush without first calling and having to wait for a call back. The last time I was told I would receive a call it was never done.
