I am a real estate agent in Palm Desert, CA and I believe that you can call you title company, and they can run comps for you. Also, If you know a real estate agent or a mortgage broker, they can, also, run the comps for you.

You can also try link attached.  Zillow allows you to look at the current house you wish to buy/sell and gives you homes that are priced similarly or recently purchased.  It also gives additional information for the home(s) you are currently researching. i.e. approximate taxes, previous owners and what they paid, etc.
