Can Pro-Flex CSST PFCT-1275 gas piping be buried below grade about 30" without sleeve?
I built an addition to my home. I have a 45,000 btu Heatilator fireplace and have to run gas pipe from existing Mech. room outside, go underground and back into addition crawlspace and over to the fireplace. Total distance is about 50'. I am on Natural Gas. I ran 1/2 piping from Mech. to fireplace. Is this big enough piping to provide proper gas and pressure for the fireplace to work properly and pass Michigan Mech Code. G2424.5.3 2006 MRC
Min. inlet pressure 5.0 in. w.c.
Max. inlet pressure 7.0 in. w.c.
Manifold Pressure 3.5 in. w.c.
Also I need to know if I can direct bury Pro-Flex CSST PFCT-1275 without sleeving in sand about 24" to 30" below grade.
