Eric- Any suggestions for the inside of windows ...

Eric- Any suggestions for the inside of windows? Mine are only 12 yrs. old but are wood on the inside. They condense when the temp. goes below 40 degrees, and the moisture is starting to damage the wood frames. Can you recommend a stain or preservative? Would polyeurethene work?Thanks, Frank
