I had Rats climbing up the concrete wall and ...

I had Rats climbing up the concrete wall and getting under the siding of my house.i bated and killed them, when I was sure they were gone I poured concrete to within 1" of siding, but forgot to sleeve supply gas line that comes up into meter. Did I make a mistake, and is this something I should have repaired. Thanks Darrell Osborne
