Wax is extremely difficult to remove. Start by scraping all excess wax off with a putty knife. After you have removed as much as you can, bring out your hair dryer (blow dryer). Heat the waxy surface with hot air, and quickly place a terry towel on the wax and try and 'wick out' as much as you can. Repeat, ending up grinding the terry towel into the surface with your foot. The idea is to get as much out as possible. Afterwards, if you have been successful, you might get a deck sealer to stick to that spot. Good luck!
