I agrree whit the way you fixed the window, but, why was the putty on the out side of the window, making easy for a brake in, it happened to me when I was renting an appartment some time ago, the video should be corrected.

I believe it's "break" in not brake in.

It's easy to "brake" in no matter how you put it. Get yourself a nice alarm system you wont have to worry much.
