Can an employer force employees to work a holiday that was previously posted as a paid day off in florida

I would think no. If you have a hardcopy to show that the day was previously posted as a paid day off, then there is way that an employer can make you work it. At least that is my opinion and if I was in the situation, I would fight it.

I would say yes. People work holidays all the time.Just because some people have the day off that doesn't mean that everybody does. There are always people working every day and night and holidays. You have to work out an arrangement with your boss.
