Where to go

If it's late October, I think Thailand is a good option. The monsoon season ends in mid-October, the beaches are wonderful, and there's a lot to see.

How about Israel? Weather would be nice here in October, you can have a few nice days on the beach in Eilat (in the southern end of Israel) and then take a 40-minute flight to the center of Israel, where there's a lot to see and do (Jerusalem, Tel Aviv). the Dead Sea is also woderful.

If you're focused mainly on the beaches, Sinai could also be a good option. 

I spend a beautiful vacation in October a few years ago in Crete in Greece, it's the largest greece island so there's a lot to do over there. I went with my family, we spend a couple of days on the hotel's privet beach, that was great, then rented a car and went exploring - there are a lot of beautiful picturesque villages, we visited a large winery and a prehistoric museum at Archanos, and the amazing ruins of Knosos, basically,Crete is the best place to learn about the greek mythology and culture and a wonderful place to eat and just have fun.

How about Istanbul? It's an amazing city, it's got a beautiful huge Bazzar, a real oriental feeling, a really impressive old city with palaces and ancient masques and a lot of really really good food. (take care to have a hotel in the old city, since the new parts are really boring. It have a river crossing the city and you can go on a boat that cruises it. If your vacation is more then a few days long, you can also rent a car or get on a bus and tour other parts of Turky.

How about Spain ,the island Mallorca, Palma de Mallorca is a great place for a beah holiday. I loved it!
