Travis Zajac family My 8 year old son is doing a report on Travis Zajac. We know nothing about hockey. Does he have siblings? Who is/was his trainer? What type of diet does he follow? Any information will be appreciated.

Thank-you

This is probably to late for your son's report, but here is some info on Travis;

PERSONAL: Spent his off-season in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba…Lists his favorite movie as Pool Hall Junkies and his favorite TV show as Friends…Enjoys golf, movies and relaxing on his days off…Listens to country music and says that the band Doc Walker is his favorite…First job was pumping gas at a local station…Was involved in the second annual Sizzlin’ Summer Showdown this past summer; event was a golf tournament to raise money for the Never Alone Foundation and its battle to find a cure for cancer…Selected by the Devils Fan Club as the 2006-07 Rookie of the Year.

Travis Zajac (born May 13, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player currently playing for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 20th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils and made his NHL debut on October 6, 2006 when the New Jersey Devils beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4–0. He scored his first NHL goal in his second NHL game on October 7, 2006, a 3–1 loss to the Dallas Stars . On April 19th 2009 Travis Zajac would score his second career playoff goal and lift the new jersey devils to a 3-2 overtime win against the Carolina Hurricanes in Carolina and would give the Devils a 2-1 lead in the series. He centered the Devils' second line with fellow University of North Dakota alumnus Zach Parise (they were not teammates at North Dakota) on his left and Jamie Langenbrunner as his right wing . The line was referred to as the "PZL" or "ZZ Pop" line by many Devils fans. For the 2008-09 NHL Season , Travis will again centre the "ZZ Pop" Line, reunited with Parise and Langenbrunner. He is of Polish ancestry and his last name (originally Zaj?c) means hare in Polish . The rumour around the practice arena is that practical joker Zajac is behind the infamous "Taffy in the Shoes Incidents" last season.
