I don't think that's true because look at all the foster parents or grandparents that look after children that are infected everyday.They don't get aids from handling every problem that arises from bowel movements to runny noses to a cut on their finger. I think you get it from sexual contact with the body contagious in seman and vagina decretions that mix or a bady in the womb that comes down the birth canal from an infected woman.
