Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.

Here are 4 web sites that provide information to your question. I have no opinion about them or what they stand for.

The lines are drawn in the sand, the American people are alive and awake, well most anyway.
Kick it and call names, Let the Freedom Ring

Erose 1390 oldest Mesonic Texts.  A poem "Regius Manuscript".

Scotland late 16th century, Lodge of Kilwinniy.

Membership 5 million.

Freemasons uses the metaphors of operative stonemason's tools and implements against the building of King Solomons temple, a Jew by the way, oh hells bells that doesn't help anything.

So we can go from here.  Personally I am fascinated by the Kinights Templer of which their Temple is in Metz.

I know a few. They were always there when I needed help.
They kneel and pray with me.
They all cried with me when my wife died in 2003.
They cried with me last April 24th when my grand daughter of 17 died.

How did I meet them? I offered my help to one of them,,, just one of them.

What else could be said about people like this, Mason, Jew, or whatever?

I'm with Deano on this one.  I have known a few and they have been the pillars of the community, ready at a moment's notice to lend a helping hand to anyone.  Some of my male relatives and some of my male friends have been/or are currently Masons.  The Eastern Star and the Rainbow Girls are also good and decent people willing to go the extra mile for those in need.  NJoy

The Freemasons have  been in existence in one form or another since before the Egyptian Empire. Their knowledge/philosophy is based on the seven principles of Hermes Trismegistus. At a local level they are a great organization. Much good has been done for the needy by Masons of one kind or another. They are given a bad rap by many because of the deeds of a few. A member will get out of the organization what they put in. Many people believe that they are intent on world control. This is false. However, the powers that ARE intent on world control are largely Masons. This is because of their personality, and drive for power, not because they are Masons. No...I'm not a Mason.

The Freemasons I have known are all outstanding leaders of the community and church going individuals.  The orginazitions do excellent community and charity work.  They are an ancient orginazition and have secret ceremonies that harm no one.

God did not give me the spirit of fear, but that of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  11Timothy 1:7

Many of the former government were Free Mason's.  When the Illuminiti were run out of Rome they went to the Free Mason Lodges to have their secretive meetings.  Many say that because the Illuminiti contributed to the Mason's and encouraging them to be secreative about their pledges that they are a great part of the Illuminiti.  Several good books are in print that will assist you in finding answers about the orginization.  Secrets of the Freemasons by Pat Morgan, Angels and Demons and the DeVinci Code, both by Dan Brown.  All three are very interesting.  I just finished Angels and Demons and would highly recommend.  Take care, good luck in your search and God bless.
