If you could spend a day with anyone in the world ...

I would like to spend a full day with Thomas Jefferson. He lived in a most exciting time as a founder of the United States of America from Declaration of Independence to the Constitution both in which he had a major part. Both these documents revolutionized the world. From there he went on to be the President of the United States and had the vision to execute the Louisiana Purchase and send Lewis and Clark to explore this new vast land. Fially a visit to the University of Virginia and his home in Monticello reveal the most creative side of this great man both as architect and creative inventor. If I could have been with him for only one day!!

Probably one of the Dutch explorers/sea heroes like Michiel de Ruyter, Piet Heyn or Maarten Tromp. They were present in the days the Dutch republic (yep 200 years before the french discovered it) were entering the "golden age".

Must be an interesting period.

Try to find someone YOU would like to spend some time with. It might be more fun than you think...

As for me, a week before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits the stores, a day with JKR would be great :-) 

All my friends form Israel - I moved to NY a year ago and I miss them a lot.

My choice might sound wild to a lot of people, but I'm always looking to be plugged in to the Spiritual Realm of life. I'm so interested and curious about things beyond this demention we live in, this world of people, places and tangible things 'here', on earth, the things we have to do, and look forward to in our every day lives.. for what, 70, 80, 90 years?.. I wonder about Forever. 

Life is good, don't get me wrong, but if I had to pick just One person to spend a day with, (in the flesh), I would pick Jesus Christ.   There are so many other Great Men and Women of God in the Bible that I would love to spend just one day with,  but if had to choose only one, I would choose Him. 

I could explain 1001 reasons why, but I think you might already know why.  The only bad thing about choosing to spend a day with Jesus is that the day would end.
