I am pretty sure there weren't any Romans in the Grand canyon. The only place I can think of that would be under the roman empire and have the same similarities as the grand canyon is Petra. If anyone knows of a story related i would be more then happy to hear. There is a

hoax online about Egyptian ruins in the Grand canyon which is far from true.
