I'm afraid that, broadly speaking, highly paid internet jobs are not easily come by. For a start, many internet companies in the 'new internet venture' arena offer packages that deploy equity components as a counterpoint to relatively low salaries.
I would also, if you don't mind, caution against making this your chief criteria in your jobsearch. Setting out simply to find a 'highly paid internet job' militates against the passion and belief that many people bring to their own work in internet-related businesses, and makes it more difficult to represent yourself as a desirable employment prospect. 'Do what you love and the money will come' is an old saying, but a far more rewarding and fulfilling principle to follow than looking for something that just pays lots of money. (With the latter kind of job, there are often very good reasons why they're paying that money - or rather, very bad reasons.)
The best way, often, to get a well-compensated job, is to be the very very best in your field and truly extraordinarily talented at what you do, so that you get paid a lot of money because you are clearly worth it.
I have no idea what your expertise is - it sounds like writing - but one area that has the potential to be relatively well paid is the creative digital space in the advertising industry. Many ad agencies and communications agencies are seeking excellent digital talent, and because there is a lot of competition for the very best players in this field, there are good salaries on offer.
I hope that helps.
