if you want an eperiment to do at home here is one idea:
ingedientd:
- seeds of corn / pea / bean
- plastic cups
- permanent marker
- cotton balls
- different kinds of water (tap water, salt water, mineral water, distilled water, waste water from washing machine etc.)
The number of cups you need is the number of different kinds of water you want to use
The number of seeds you need is 4 times the number of cups
In each cup put cotton balls enough to cover the base and 3-4 seeds.
Write on the cup the kind of water you will use in this cup and water it enough to wet all the cottonball but make sure there is no extra water.
put all the cups near a window.
Water all cups together, once every 3/4 days (depend on the weather), make sure you continou to water each cup with the proper kind of water.
With time you can see which seeds sprout and with what qualety (big / small, what color are the leaves etc.)
