PLease help me whats wrong with her.

my german shepard is almost 10yrs old. out of nowhere she started limping on one of her back legs then it started getting worst and now she just wont get up she cries all day. she wont eat unless we bring it to her. she just lays in the backyard and cries. She looks so sad and in pain. Shes getting skinnier and she wont move she struggles to go to the bathroom and is having runny poop but we have been giving her med. for bones. i dnt know whats wron with her? help me please.

You should have her leg looked at by a animal docter other wise her leg with get more tense and harder to heal making the pain worse as well. Try getting her to eat 3 times a day and make sure there's always water in her bowl. Update me i hope she gets better!

Hi, Please take your dog to the vet tomorrow, she may have hip dysplasia that's why she's limping. Since she is having loose BM, she may be getting dehydrated. Please keep us posted.

German Shepherds are prone to congenital hip/joint problems. The eating thing is most likely because she is uncomfortable. It's possible she had hip displaysia - you can read more about it here: http://www.dogjoints.co.uk/what-causes-canine-hip-displasia/ - most important though, if she is in pain, she needs to see a vet.

Hi,
You are not going to like my answer:  German Shepherds live some 10-12 years (in the average) and that means your dog is old..... in human age she is some 80 -85 years old and at that age, just as humans, "age illnesses" (geriatric) are very much expected.  On top of it it is well known that German Shepherds are sensetive to hip / joint problems (I had this terrible experience with my late dog, "Tiger").   Thake her to the vet and try to ease her pains.  Above all please get ready to the days that she will no longer be with you (so sorry to write it).
