Please help everyone......

Please help!!!  I heard people in my apartment building had bed bugs, i did not think anything of it at the time.  Now i just discovered an adult bed bug on my bedroom wall and it is identical to the images i found on yahoo.  I read about the dangers and all, nasty!! It also said the best thing was to get rid of furniture and all beds/bedding as they live there. Is this covered under my rental insurance? And what are my rights as a tenant in md??? What do i do??? I have 2 children!

In Asian countries there are many bedbugs. They are nasty insects when too many but not dangerous.  Of course they bite and causes red mark in the skin. But they are not fatal as other bugs. They normally hide in seams or slits (small openings) in floors, walls, pillows, beddings where they can easily multiply. Treatment is simple, use a spray to affected areas or sprinkle with hot water those slits and wash in hot water immediately the items with markings, normally black spots, sign that they infiltrated them. I had experience with these bugs when I was a college student but during those time (30 years) ago, there was no spray or chemical available. Now we have plenty.
