Hello Adam,

 I feel ur pain becuz I to am hoh. I was not born this way and only had probs since high school. Had meningitis doing infancy and caused me to lose my hearing in both ears one worst than other. I don't wear an aide becuz it doesn't really help. I feel frustrated sometimes but neva question my existence only God can answer that. Remember we r all somebody cuz God didn't make no junk we were made in his image. So just try and ignore the ignorant folks don't even waste ur time on them life is to precious for all that negativity. I wanted to become an airline hostess and could not becuz of my ears. What I did was turn to things that I could do with the bad ears. Forget about competing with the otha people just try and make yourself happy, Do what is best for u and in the end if the job gets to b 2 much QUIT,  Just like u found that one u will find another. One day it will get betr for people like us the in betweens not deaf not hearing. Just try and hold on and may u find peace within....Craftycetta
