Its seems to me that your heart is trying to tell you something. It is normal to experience rapid heart beats when you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed about something or when you are pushing yourself physically and/or emotionally etc. In your case I think that your heart is trying to tell you to take better care of yourself. Get more sleep and try to eat more healthy amounts. Perhaps your heart racing reflects your own nervousness? If you are upset about something such as overeating then you can make yourse excited lf as well. Try to relax and take good care of yourself and if you do not see better results soon then I would consult a physician.

Hi,

There are certain situations where feeling your heart beet is normal but if this goes on all day I would say that you should have this checked out. There are many different possible causes to what you're feeling anywhere between physiological causes and Mental issues. It's best to have a thorough checkup that can easily rule out many conditions with great simplicity.

Till you get that checkup, try to do relaxing things. Stress is part of our lives and it helps us keep on going but we can't let it control us.

Hope you feel better.

Yes - these symptoms are Ok provided that they are the only symptoms you have.

You should have your blood pressure checked  by your doctor to make sure it isnt high.

If you have any other heart related symptoms like chest pains, breathing problems or irregular heartbeat then you should see a doctor for a check up

100 thumbs up

I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings. Other sites I like to visit are:

Whiplash Injury

Europe Vacation Destinations

Apple Cider Vinegar

Voos Baratos

Maori Tattoos

Lord of the Rings Jewelry

Travel Notes

I think you should see your doctor for a check over

You definitely need to have your blood pressure checked because being aware of your heart beat can be one sign of having high blood pressure
