Now, often when I lay down, I hear the blood pumping to my brain. It is not the sound of my heartbeat--they have separate sounds and rhythms. It drives me pretty crazy at night--and can make me feel a little nauseous. It is a whoosh-type of sound, that is slower than my heart rate. Someone said that it is a blood vessel to my brain, but why is it so noticeable and distressing, now? Thanks for your help.
I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.
I would ask your doctor what is causing this. It could be a number of possibilities.
