Why would you want to do this to yourself?

Enemas are not generally necessary - or recommended. If you feel there is a medical reason why you are in need of an enema, please ask your doctor to make arrangements for you to have one performed by a medical professional.

If it hurts it means that there is a possibility of doing some internal damage. The colon is lined with very delicate membrane and forcing an enema can damage this membrane and even rupture your colon.

There are much better ways to do a colon cleanse.

This is a question that should be answered by a naturopath, a physician or some other qualified professional versed in colonics. I can recommend a naturopath in Arkansas, who is also a bio-chemist and has proven to be effective even in the treatment of cancers. Her name is Dr Marijah McCain and her website is www.herbalhealer.com.  She has ask the Naturopath every Wednesday. I hope you can get some help from her.  I hope everything comes out alright. Be well.  Laughing

Im not an expert but i remember from many times having read in different health books that enemas should not be done unless u cant go toilet for several days in which case i suggest as quick measure a telephone shower into yr anus under pressure with likewarm water. This will not go in very deep and will probably help get rid of the problem this time.Washing out mucus that cover the gut inside is not good because this mucus protects yr gut from the toxicity of yr stools.

The good measure is to change yr diet alltogether to a much more vegetarian one.U must have fibre in yr food or y take fiber in the pharmacy. And u must have bulk foods and its again plants plants plants. Not much meat.Only one gram per kilo of yr weight. Not much animal food.Find a state hospital nutritionist and ull get good advice. The problem is that u should follow it.And ull never again have constipation. And will be healthier cos constipation is a symptom of illness and acauses illnes. Its a vicious circle that u can cut only by healthier diet with lots of water.3 liters
