Why is so hard to meet people if you don't drink ...

It's very simple- people go to bars to meet other people (that's the bar main purpose) so they do their best to look good and they know that they must show confidence or otherwise, people will think they are weak. when people go to bars and drink they are much more open to other people and say the thing they are afraid to say on a regular day.

If you're going to bars and drinking to meet people, the only people you're going to meet are those who think you have to go to bars and drink alcohol to meet people.

May as well start up pen pal relationships with convicted felons and ask why the people you always wind up meeting are always in trouble with the law.

Maybe you should meet people at the grocery store.

I know what your saying. I myself am not big on drinking, however i have found that striking up freindships with common everyday people such as the cashier who rings up your groceries or someome at the park can often be more simple and rewarding.

ok. I am recoverinag alcoholic and share the same plight. And as for the ignorant comment about talkign to felons.....some people make mistakes, and get caught. Some people are screwing up other peoples lives constantly and never get repremanded. The place to meet people is on the internet cause they can't see your face. Just kiddin. Do what you like to do and your mates will be there!
