What is your opionion of Men and/or Women who make up their mind to be a Confirmed Bachelor or Bachelorette? Never to be Married or have a family of their own. Do you think it's natural for a person to honestly believe they would be happier and healthier without a partner.. for the rest of their life? Or do you think there is there something deeper going on with them?
Oh wow, I'd like to know as well. I can relate. I was the most happiest in all my life when I lived by myself. The milk is always as I left it, the butter is always in the butter tray, my toothbrush is always as I laid it there, I know exactly what needs to be done and what doesn't, I know if the dog has been fed and what he ate. I really want to know as well. Someone please let us know, is this natural or are we possibly missing hormones or something? I have friends, so I really doubt if it is hormones, otherwise I'd have no desires. They are there, just fine, but maybe it's something I'm just not able to put my finger on. I did notice in my family genealogy a lot of single Dowell's. Both Males and females. So could this even be genetic? I am just really more comfortable knowing what is where and I know when I need to clean the floors, I don't have mysterious messes appear out of nowhere, no surprises. And if I bake a pie, I know it won't dissapear so I can feel comfortable offering a piece to a neighbor without checking forst to be sure it's still there. LOL

LOL! Yea, my question got alittle carried away.. seriously missing my Bachelorette days.. (I'm Married now with a young child)) I had to Edit my question before people who read started to think I might need a 'strait jacket'! Your comment was good.. "just can't put your finger on it" ME EITHER! Have a great day jmbwholesale!.. thanks for sharing!
I think the older we get the more important the future becomes for us. Young people who make a decision to remain single have a flattened time line (hardly any depth). I met too many lonely older people who regretted making that decision. We have parents and grandparents who are our links to the past but to decide to have no children leaves one with a truncated future. It is important to remember that reproduction is a powerful human drive and should not be overridden.
