i am a man 71yrs old white skin. i have blotches on the uper part of my chest, they are white in colour they colour pink when i have been in the sun. and the rest of my chest goes brown it looks like some kind of skin damage. could you please advice treartment. many thanks peter varley.

You can use make up to cover it up or see a dermatologist to use rx creams.

 

Cover up with sunscreen, these patches have no pigment to protect you from the sun:-)

You can go for some home based treatments. Mix 3 tbsp of starch grain and 3 tbsp of oatmeal in a bucket full of water. Bathe in the water for a week or so. You will definitely get some relief from the blotches.

 

Sometimes these blotches can give rise to skin hives, which is really a very deadly disease. For more information on skin hives, visit:
