People who exercise regularly not only lose weight faster, they are more successful at keeping it off. Not only does the exercise itself burn calories, but your body will continue to burn calories at a higher rate even after you're done exercising.Check out http://use-weightloss.blogspot.com/ for all info regarding weight loss.

There's only two things you can do:

1.  Eat smaller portions, and
2.  Find an exercise you enjoy so you stick with it.

This isn't a quick fix, just so you know!  This has got to be a lifestyle change.

In my opinion, no fat/carbs/sodium equals no flavor.  You can eat the foods you love so long as you eat small portions of them.  (A slighly heaping serving spoon of mashed potatoes measures 1/2 cup.)  Any and all diets will fail if you don't practice portion control.  Eat small meals every few hours.  Eat slowly--use a smaller plate and eat your dinner with a dessert fork.  (Smaller mouthfuls make you slow down, so you know when you've had enough.)

Exercise wise, find something you love doing besides exercising your thumb on the remote control.  What do you like to do to move around?  Do you like to dance?  Buy a pair of rollerskates and skate around the local park.  Ride a bicycle.  Take up a sport.  Whatever you can do to move your body--we weren't made to just sit around on our rear ends!

My mom has been doing really well with weight loss recently.  She's been doing the following:-

  • Putting ankle weights on whilst she walks the dog.
  • Cutting out bread and potatoes.
  • Eating more salads.
  • Doing exercise with the Body Pump system.
Even although she hasn't been able to do as much exercise as she would like because she hurt her back, she's still been losing a few pounds every week.

Im 15. 166am tall and i weigh 51.6kg

Skip breakfast, eat a small but healthy luch and dont eat till dinner time. If you get hungry just drink water so you feel full without putting on weight.

The best way to lose weight quick is of course excercising.Cardio is best for burning fat and calories. Walking ir light jogging for at least 1/2 hour a day is best. Get your proper rest. Sleep is one of the keys to weight loss & healthy metabolism. DON'T skip breakfast!! This is important. Eat a healthy breakfast like a banana with a little bit of peanut butter. Cut out foods high in cholosteral, fat, sodium, starch and cut back your sugar intake also. I just read nuts such as walnuts, pistachio, almonds, sunflower seeds also help with belly fat. Drink a glass of milk with your meals and don't eat fast, you will not still feel hungry after your meal if you do this. Also plenty of water and experts recommend 6 small healthy meals. Don't starve yourself, just eat HEALTHY..fruits, vegatables, nuts, fish.

Try The south beach diet. you'll lose like 15 pounds in h first 2 weeks. I did. Don't skip meals. If you do, your body will start storing fats, because it thinks you are going to stop feeding it.  Cut out snacks, and EXERCISE!! Also, try to walk before breakfast. Since you won't have anythining your system yet, it burns twice as many calories as doing it in the afternoon. Exercising before meals kick starts your motaboism, and it burnsthe food WHILE your eating it. Good luck!

Before to start any weight loss program you need to talk to your Dr.  I too made the decision to lose weight and It caused me to feel so compulsive that I gained 5 lbs. in 2 weeks.  I went to see my doctor and before we started anything he did a full blood workup on me to see if anything medical was going on.  Well my thyroid was not working like it should.  My blood pressure was up because of my weight gain. and Stress was causing me to eat compulsively.  He was able to help me with Rx medications.  One for the thyroid, one for the BP and one, a short term medication to get my compulsivness under control until I could get myself together.  I have to go back to the Dr. once a month to get my vitals checked and the medicine is only for short term use, but so far it is helping.  Since February I have lost 17lbs. and I am starting to feel less of a blob on the couch to more of a happy person who wants to go out and do something.  I have done this only with food choices and no eating after 8:00pm.  Breakfast is your best meal of the day and pop is not your friend.  Most people just say eat less and exercise.  That is good, but you also need to see if something medical is going on.   Hope this info helps.

Oh and by the way.  When I was at the Dr. yesterday, besides losing the 17 lbs. He has also taken me off of one of the blood pressure medicines,  I don't need it anymore.  Don't lose heart you can do it too.
