Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

There are several possible reasons:
1.  You are not tiered enough.
2.  You sleep during day-time.
3.  Something bothers you very much (Finnacially, health,
     relatins, family, work).
4.  Too much coffee.
5.  Hunger.  Thirst.
6.  Too much food.  Too fat foods.
8.  Bad mattress.
9.  Not enough ventilation.
10.  Not a comfortable temperature (too high, too low).
11.  Smells / odours.
12.  Not enough air (oxygen).
Find the right answer and you'll know what to do.

Try Melatonine a couple of hours before planning on going to bed. It helps you get your sleeping patterns in order.

If you're simply sleeping only 4 hours a night, consider yourself lucky and fill your time with useful pursuits.

Are you drinking caffeine/eating too much sugar in the afternoon. That can definitely disrupt your sleeping patterns. Also, if you're stressed out about something its tough to completely relax and fall into a deep sleep. You might try going home and journalling, writing out everything you're concerned about and then coming up with ways to solve/attack those problems. If you try modifying your diet and de-stressing and that still doesn't work check with your doctor..its always good to be on the cautious side if you're concerned about something. Take care..and hope you're able to figure this out!

I have insomnia and I have tried many things to help me with it. I have limited caffeine, hot tea, warm bath, tylenol pm, and prescription meds. I found that when I get stressed out....it gets a lot worse and then I am up until 5 am and have to get my son to school at 7:30 and then off to work. It is a vicious cycle. I am now trying herbal remedies and it has given me some relief. I feel better knowing that it is natural. I was also glad that it had a money back guarantee. I feel so much better now and I am sleeping like a "normal" person does. I really hope that it gets better for you. Here is a link with a lot of good info on the subject.....hope it helps

Check with physician to see if you have diabetes or sleep apnea (do you snore?).  Also, if your leg(s) move a lot when in bed, that is likely 'restless leg syndrome'. All of these can be treated with medication and apnea with a CPAP or BiPAP machine.  Also go to bed at about the same time each night - same with wake up time.  Do not eat late at night and avoid caffeine or other stimulants after dinner.

You could be experiencing a form of insomnia where you are stressed out about waking in the middle of the night, so you do. Like a self-fulfilling prophesy of sorts.

There are drug free ways to finally get the sleep you need. Read this free Sleep Report and hopefully it helps.
