I always get a bad migraine with my period it starts on the first day& lasts for 3 days I'm on the contraceptive pill but don't normally suffer with migraines at any other time. I have been to my doctor and they recommend that i take soluable pain releif until the miagrane subsides. Although this does dull the pain i am still left feeling nauseus and tired. If you have any suggestions that would relieve my symptoms I would be grateful

Natural health = good health naturally.

Migraines are caused by a variety of reasons - hormones, toxins, emotions, caffeine.  Your birth control pill may actually be causing them.  I can't take them for exactly that reason.  The herb feverfew taken regularly will decrease and alot of times eliminate migraines.  There are also homeopathic remedies that will alleviate alot of the symptoms while having a migraine.  Caffeine causes migraines, but can also act as a cure while having one.  Ginger can aid with nausea.  Hope this helps.
