I have especially dry eyes and for that I use a lot of eye drops, can it make it worse - I mean can it suppress my regular tears.
can to much eye drop use hurt the eyes ?
Some eyedrops , mainly artificial tears if you are a dry eyed person, contain preservatives such as benzalkonium hexachloride they do damage the cornea if you use the drops more then 4 times a day. Make sure the drops you use don't contain these substances. Try this site for more info:

Great information on health, diet, and exercise: www.mattmetzgar.com
There is evidence of a connection between dietary fat and dry eye. Specifically, consuming more omega-3 fat (like oily fish) can help reduce dry eye. This approach is probably better than using artificial eye drops which contain chemicals that may damage the eye. Here's a reference:

Yes, sometimes using excessive eye drops hurts the eyes as these drops are made of chemicals. While browsing, I have found a site and I have seen their some dry eye treatments. I think they will help you. Here is the URL: http://www.online-eye-info.com/dry-eyes-treatment.html You can check this out if you feel interested.
