I cannot afford medical insurance thus I cannot ...

I cannot afford medical insurance thus I cannot get my medicine for my hypertension. Does anyone know of some medical insurance for low-income people?

Also, on the Montel Williams site, he has a program he works with or promotes to help people get their RX for free.

Depending on your state you could always sign up for Medicaid which basis your eligibility on your income.  If your needing assistance on your medication then you could either check with wal-mart or Kroger and see if your medication is on the $4.00 list.  There is also a website called rxassist.org and you can check to see if your medication is eligible for assistance by the drug company.  I several patients on programs and it is fairly easy to sign up for.
