I've never had gall bladder problems ,but a woman was in the hospital when I was and she was recuperating from surgery. They had her on the most boring diet in the hospital, and the instructions the dietician gave her before she left, was just as boring.Very small amount of fat.Chicken soup or soups, no chicken had ever walked through. No cream in soups, fat free or 2%.It seems that they told her to stay away from foods that caused gas or heartburn, or maybe that was untill she healed some.I'm glad I just had congested heart failure,i got to eat out of a bottle on this nice pole, you could carry around you in case you got hungry.Good luck in trying to adjust to all your changes, including sweets.

go on soft diet..avoid salty foods and too much sugar..follow your doctors advice and keep your self healthy..

When you remove the gallbladder,you remove the ability of your body to inject the gall into your food to break down the fats properly. This causes all the consternation when you eat fatty.You should do is to stop eating fats entirely. What you need to do is to eat the right fat (essential fats like omega 3 and omega 6) and stop eating hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated fats and trans fatty acids.use only cold pressed, extra virgin olive oil. Do not cook with the wrong oils. Some of them are excellent cold but become trans fats or bad-for-you fats once they are heated.Stop eating sugars which are deplete the body of nutrients, and are stored as fat in the body. Stop eating sugars which are deplete the body of nutrients, and are stored as fat in the body.Use fish, poultry and lean meats. Avoid the fatty meats. Fresh fruit daily but choose the ones that are lower in sugar. Tropical fruits like bananas and mangoes are high in sugar. 

 Removing the gallbladder will get rid of the pain but it will not necessarily get rid of your digestive symptoms. Stones have been known to form in the ducts even year after surgery. This is because the problem begins in the liver which makes the bile.  And if you don't clean up your diet as well you will very likely continue to have difficulty metabolising fats. If you really want optimum health you need  to slowly change your diet over to approximately 75% organic food raw.
