hi my son has got a few spots on his legs, back and arm only about 6, they are like a white spot wth red around it do u think this is chicken pox?

It doesn't sound like it, to me. The initial spot in chicken pox often looks like a drop of water atop the child's pink skin. Has he been exposed to chicken pox recently?
What you describe sounds more like some sort of insect bite.
