Hi, ----------- As the medical technology makes a progress more and more sophisticated instruments / machins / testing techniques / sevices / sensors / detectors /...... etc..... are being in used and most of them are very very expensive..... (to purchase and to operate / maintain + special manpower). All in all: that will increase the health care costs. -------- Best regards,

  Live ,laugh,love,

Its expensive...pretty straight forward...to have these new machines and cutting edge technology...but on the flip side usually once installed and once they use the medical technology it can actually in the end cut the cost because it makes for better care of the patients so better outcomes ,less morbidity, fewer lawsuits, quicker care, this of course is if it is used correctly by experienced personnel. This is on of the reasons we need more people to go into the health professions today and learn these new technologies and keep up .Something President Clinton used to talk about all the time .It is imperative we stay ahead of our machines!!!

Hi MOSKI388,
Great answer (2 thumbs up).  One possible result should be: Increasing the average life expectation..... and that increase the health care costs.....

The three answers are appreciated.  However, they were very brief and will not serve my purpose.
