Maria,

I'm so sorry about your loss of family members.  It's not easy to experience those.  If those antidepressants don't agree with you, go back to your doctor and

ask him for a different kind of medication.  With regards to your throat problem, tell him about it.

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

At the risk of sounding offensive, it is called globus hystericus. And yes, this can certainly be a part of anxiety.

This site is from a drug company, so take it with a grain of salt. This was the first site I found that mentioned this.

could be anxiety, could be allergies from pollen (I get that in fall) could be a bit of the flu. You won't be able to know for sure unless you see a doctor.

As for antidepressants, they take a while to work, and a lot of people need to try a couple of different brands before they find something that work for them. I suggest going back to the dr. and try something else for a few months and see what happens.

While a sprinkling of salt is essential to our health, most of us consume far more than we need. Too much salt increases fluid retention and swelling causing high blood pressure and related problems such as heart disease, stroke and kidney problems. Read more...
