Chamomile tea is said to reduce inflammation and fever, to be a mild sedative, to relieve stomach cramps and indigestion, and to promote healing of gastric ulcers. Chamomile is generally safe. It may interact with alcohol and sedatives (eg, barbiturates). Some people are allergic to pollen in chamomile products.
consider trying peppermint. Several studies have shown that it can reduce IBS symptoms, particularly when cramping and diarrhea are major problems.  Also getting more fiber in your diet even if it is a supplement can ease cramping. For constant cramping see your doctor. You might check out this site http://health.howstuffworks.com/home-remedies.htm they have home remedies for just about anything

It is pretty simple and my grandmother taught me this trick. What works for me is heat. Try placing a warm rubber bottle on your stomach it really helps. The heat gets the blood running and it really calms the cramps. If not hot water try rubbing some alcohol (like a strong aniseed  liqueur) on your stomach.

Hope I could help.

I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings. Other sites I like to visit are:

Whiplash Injury

Europe Vacation Destinations

Apple Cider Vinegar

Voos Baratos

Lord of the Rings Jewelry

The advice above for stomach cramps is good but - remember - if you have persistent abdominal or stomach symptoms then you need to go see your doctor.

Don't mess about. Don't try to treat persistent abdominal pain yourself. Go get a check up ...... please !
