there are no hospitals that treat patients for free.

however, if you go to a hospital with a nonprofit status they cannot refuse to take care of you if you can't afford to pay.

also, they are suppose to write off the bill. they don't like you to know that. you have to fill out a poverty form, they will not tell you this. you will have to ask for it.
