I'm the type of girl who will burst out laughing in dead silence because of something that happened yesterday.

A good friend of mine is currently going through the same problem. Her period has stopped for almost 8 months now and she's 100% sure she's not pregnant. The doctors have been running a battery of tests to rule out any major issues and so far, nothing has been unusual in any of her tests. When it comes down to it, they think it may be because my friend is over-stressed and the stress has caused her period to stop. While this could your issue, I think it's best to go to the doctor to rule out any other medical problem. Good luck!

Simple Advice for a Better Quality of Life!

Hi jlatino,

Let me try to give you a simple straight-forward answer :  Your chemical and hormonal balance of your body is "out of whack".  Yes, you could have deficiencies, stress, etc. but it all comes back to maintaining proper body chemistry, so your hormones levels are where they should be for optimum health.  I am very big on natural remedies, although, as most seem to always suggest visiting your physician (doctors can be great, but ultimately nothing beats knowing your body and learning to care for yourself to prevent illnesses and disease in the first place.).  In our western world...doctors treat symptoms not the root problem itself.  I know it can be tiring to hear, but I always recommend taking a high quality multi-vitamin that will help to balance your body back out and, if needed, try a NATURAL remedy first.  You can always go to the doctor later and let them barrage you with tests only to hear them tell you you may have low iron levels or something along those lines.

I included a link to 2 of the best multi-vitamins available.  Try them for one month and get back to me. Either will help with repairing your cells and correcting hormonal problems.

Xtend-Life Total Balance or Micro-Nutra Vita-Female

If you need an additional natural remedy, I also included a link to one my friend uses to alleviate and regulate her cycle.

Xtend-Life Female Rejuvenator

Are you taking birth control pills? Cause some girls when they take BCP they're period stops for a while or it will last for 3 days. If I were you  I would take this Issue directly to the gynecologist to make sure of whats going on. Take care

The first thing you should do is go to an OB-GYN. She'll probably start you on a birth control and run some blood test on you to check your horomone levels. We are supposed to get at least 3 menstrual cycles a year. Every month is better. At least 3 a year to prevent cancer. If you are overweight, or have external factors such as stress, depression, etc. those could be other factors. If your horomones are not balanced your doctor will more than likely put you on a birth control they feel is fit for you to help balance those out.
