Play sound masking white noise CDs. Unlike white noise machines or generators, which are more expensive, the beauty of white noise CDs is that you can adjust the tone and volume to mask your particular tinnitus or ear ringing symptoms.Just go search for "white noise cd" and you'll find several sources that can help.
