The only unforgivable sin is totally deniance of God. It says so in the new testament.  Hope Jesus really is the sun of God because he forgave God didn't.  We're in trouble if we are supposed to live by the Old testiment.  Boy are we in trouble.  Deep Deep Do Do

Livin in a small, backwoods, country, Southern town that's deep in a holler is like bein in Heaven.

To me, burning a Bible is every bit as severe as denying the existance of God/Jesus and claiming that the Holy Spirit isn't holy.

I may not be Mr. Know It All, but I knew him well and he taught me much.

What would give anyone the idea that burning a bible is in any way bad, sinful, or wrong? Having been a student of the bible for many years I can't say that I've ever seen or heard any such suggestion that burning a bible is an act that requires you to be fearful of God's or even man's wrath. It is a book, not an entity. You can always buy a new bible. Maybe somewhere in your life you've been fed some bad religion where they've told you it is a mortal sin to burn a bible. Well, that would be "religion", which is doing things according to the rules a man has made up, not Christianity, which is following Jesus and living according to his word (Bible).

God and Jesus are the same being. The trinity is God in three forms, God, man, and spirit. In the New Testament Jesus basically says we are no longer under the tenents of the Old Testament and are instead saved by the grace of God. So LMarie don't worry about being in any trouble. If you live a sinful lif you are in trouble, but it's easy to get around that. If you don't understand that, ask someone who is a Christian. And by the way, jesus is not the "sun" of God, but the son of God. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

I have seen people do some rotten things in my few short years.  I have seen people do some truly wonderful things.  And I have seen people lead thoroughly humdrum lives, never doing anything too good or too evil and they thought that was all right.

Burning a Bible would not be much of a sin: it is only paper and a little calfskin for a binder.  What is the big deal?

The deal comes in when people forget what was between those calfskin covers.  Burn a million Bibles if you think it will make the Word of God go away, but rest assured, if another Hitler comes along and burns 2.7 million Bibles in Nurnberg as happened in 1937, that would not be so easy to forgive.

As for the six Bibles on my shelves, they will eventually crumble to dust, as will my bones when they stuff me into the crematorium.

The Bible you keep is the one inside your heart.

Absolutely nothing happens to them. No punishment. Because "God" does not exist and it's about time for you people to admit it.

Hitler was a Roman Catholic.

Oh, and the holy spirit isn't holy. I deny the holy spirit. He's a bad guy. He's always late on his rent, he robbed a liquor store, he beats his girlfriend, he tortures his cat, I saw him mug an old woman once, and he is also having an affair. With a man. That's not right, he's lying to his girlfriend. He laughs at funerals, he eggs old folks' homes, and he paints graffiti on preschools, and he's cheating on his taxes. Not a good guy, that's for sure.

There. Ooooh, I'm so scared.
